How, from among the hundreds of my favorite songs that have touched my life this year, do I choose just one to represent both the past and the future?
Well, after much debate with myself, I picked a time-honored classic artist, one that I've leaned on in many phases throughout my life, Steven Curtis Chapman. This song, released in 2004, speaks of a past transformed, a life sustained, and a future of hope. And it met my requirement of having the word "new" as a central lyric and theme. I hope you enjoy it.
I pray your 2011 is filled with God's blessings, leading, guiding, strengthening, loving, revealing, redeeming, sustaining, peace, mercy and grace. Happy New Year, my dear Dry Ground friends!
